Essential Qualifications

  • Admissibility to article in accordance with École du Barreau du Québec

And

  • Good cumulative grade point average in courses pursued for law degree and an acceptable combination of education, training and experience

  • Capacity to analyze legal principles and/or legal problems from a variety of perspectives.

  • Capacity to conduct legal research

  • Ability to communicate orally.

  • Ability to communicate in writing.

  • Ability to work in a team

  • Interpersonal relationships

Ability to establish and maintain constructive work relations based on mutual respect and listening in a manner that helps to advance to work of the organization.

  • Commitment and ethics

Adhere to the values and goals of the Department of Justice and to act in the public interest.

  • Judgment

Draw logical conclusions from facts presented or observed in a given situation.

Official Language Proficiency

  • Bilingual Imperative CCC/CCC

  • Bilingual Imperative CBB/CBB

Asset qualification

  • Excellent cumulative grade point average in courses pursued for law degree

  • Recipient of a diploma related to tax

  • Experience in legal field

Operational Requirements

  • Candidates must be flexible with respect to hours of work.

  • Candidates will be required to travel occasionally.
