Geoffrey B. Gomery, Q.C., a partner at Nathanson Schachter & Thompson is appointed a judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia in Vancouver. He replaces Mr. Justice B.M. Greyell, who retired effective November 24, 2017.

Ivan Robichaud, Q.C., a partner with Robichaud Guignard Gauvin in Shippagan, is appointed a judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench of New Brunswick, Trial Division, in Bathurst. He replaces Mr. Justice J.A.R. Léger (Bathurst), who elected to become a supernumerary judge effective February 6, 2017.

    The Honourable Jody Wilson-Raybould, Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, today announced the following appointments under the new judicial application process announced on October 20, 2016. K.A. Siobhan Monaghan, a partner at KPMG Law LLP in Toronto, is appointed a judge of the Tax Court of Canada. She replaces Madam Justice J.M. Woods, who was appointed to the Federal Court of Appeal on June 16, 2016. Susan Wong, Regional Director and General Counsel at the Department of Justice Canada in Vancouver, is appointed a judge of the Tax Court of Canada. She replaces Madam Justice V.A. Miller, who resigned effective June 1, 2017.
