State of the Criminal Justice System Dashboard
Resolution Mechanisms
Ensuring victims, survivors, accused, convicted persons, and families have multiple community-based and culturally-based options available to address crime is a core outcome of the criminal justice system. This outcome is measured by a decreased use of incarceration, an increase in diversion to restorative justice processes, and referrals to community-based Indigenous justice programs.
