Hire a student through the High School Students with Intellectual Disabilities Integration Program (HSSIDIP)
Managers who would like to hire a student through the HSSIDIP must provide information on your organization and proposed position using the form below. The position should involve routine or operational tasks with clear processes and objectives, accomplished through a series of specific steps or actions performed in sequence (see examples of work responsibilities).

Examples of work responsibilities
Office and computer work
- Organizing electronic information in folders, tables, or lists or using various software
- Managing shared drives, databases, or file inventories (e.g., marking outdated files for deletion)
- Digitizing documents by scanning and placing them in electronic folders
- Tracking information updates on government websites or other locations to keep staff up to date
- Managing office equipment (e.g., organizing file folders or maintaining an inventory of office supplies)
- Providing IT support or managing electronic equipment (e.g. wiping hard drives and discarding old computers)
- Updating hyperlinks in documents
Manual labour
- Open outdoor space maintenance (e.g. lawns, hockey rinks, etc.)
- Setting up rooms for events
- Managing inventory or office supplies
- Painting walls, benches, or structures
- Woodwork (e.g. building telephone holders, insect traps)
- Cleaning workspaces or equipment (e.g. laboratory equipment, bathrooms, vehicles)
