Essential Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor in Law, obtained at the latest on December 31st, 2016. When applying, the candidate must provide a proof that they have obtained at least 36 credits that are accepted in their law degree program. If you were educated outside of Canada, you must have your certificates and/or diplomas assessed against Canadian education standards. This will enable you to provide proof of Canadian equivalency when applying for a job in the public service. The public service will accept any Foreign Educational Credentials as long as they are deemed comparable to Canadian standards, through a recognized credential assessment service.

Experience

• Please note that the screening of the candidates selected for an interview will be based on this criterion. Please clearly indicate in your resume all work experience (paid or volunteer), training, and studies that you have.

Operational Requirements

• Requirement to travel which may include assignments on short notice and for extended periods.
• A valid driver's licence is required.
• Requirement to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
