The Youth Criminal Justice Act is the legal foundation upon which Canada's youth criminal justice system is built.

Youth Justice Initiative

The Department of Justice is responsible for the Youth Justice Initiative.

Youth Justice Fund

The Youth Justice Fund provides grants and contributions to projects that encourage a more effective youth justice system, respond to emerging youth justice issues and enable greater citizen and community participation in the youth justice system.

State of the Criminal Justice System – Youth

The State of the Criminal Justice System monitors the performance of the youth and adult criminal justice systems, in effort to better understand justice system trends, strengths and areas of improvement.

Minister of Justice National Youth Justice Policing Award

The Minister of Justice National Youth Justice Policing Award was established in 2000 and is presented in collaboration with the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police (CACP) and the Canadian Police Association (CPA).
