Legal Studies for Indigenous People Program

Overview

The LSIP Program promotes the equitable representation of Indigenous people in the legal profession by providing bursaries to Métis and non-status Indians who wish to attend law school.

Who is eligible?

Métis and Non-Status Indians enrolled in a pre-law or law program recognized and delivered by a Canadian university.

Objectives

To promote equitable representation of Indigenous people in the legal profession by providing financial assistance to those enrolled in a pre-law program or a law program in Canada.

How to Apply for Funding

Applicants must submit their applications directly to Indspire which manages and delivers the LSIP Program.
