Figure 4 presents the results of question 53a, “What impact has Canadian law enforcement and national security agencies in Canada had on your immediate family?” This question was asked of visible minorities and non-minorities and presents the percentage of each group who felt that such agencies had “no impact” on their immediate families.

The Y axis ranges from 0% to 80%.

On the X axis is the two groups, visible minorities and non-minorities. 65% of non-minorities felt that Canadian law enforcement and national security agencies in Canada had no impact on their immediate families, whereas 56% of minorities felt this way.

Note that these findings are significant at p < 0.001.
