The x-axis shows the rate per 10,000 youth, by intervals of 10, from 0 to 120.
The y-axis is divided into 13 categories, representing the provinces/administrations. From top to bottom: Nunavut, Northwest Territories, Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Canada. Each category is subdivided into two categories, from top to bottom: non-Aboriginal youth and Aboriginal youth.
- In Nunavut, the incarceration rate for Aboriginal youth was approximately 33 per 10,000 inhabitants while the incarceration rate for non-Aboriginal youth was 0 per 10,000 inhabitants.
