Figure 2 is a broken-line graph showing the number of adults charged with drug offences, by type of offence, in Yukon from 1977 to 1998. The X axis shows the year; the Y axis shows the number of adults charged, in increments of 20, from 0 to 160. There are two broken lines: one (dark blue) showing the number of adults charged with drug possession; and one (pink) showing the number of adults charged with drug trafficking, importing and growing.
The number of adults charged with drug possession shows a downward trend from 1977 to 1998, ranging from 133 in 1977 to 16 in 1998.
The number of adults charged with drug trafficking, importing and growing increases and decreases, but remains rather stable from 1977 to 1998.
