Graphic 11.3.1.1 shows peace bond issuances in Winnipeg (from 1993 to 1996) and Halifax (from 1998 to 2000). In Winnipeg, the number of peace bond issuances increased for the first 3 years, before dropping in 1996. Overall, it went from around 79 1993 to 75 in 1996. In Halifax, the number of peace bond issuances dropped drastically between 1998 and 1999 and increased slightly in 2000. For the whole period, it went from about 87 issuances in 1998 to 70 in 2000.
