Enroll students in the High School Students with Intellectual Disabilities Integration Program (HSSIDIP)
The HSSIDIP Team works directly with schoolboards to enroll eligible students and match them with available positions. If your schoolboard would like to participate in the HSSIDIP, please complete the form below. The information provided will be used by the HSSIDIP Team to contact you and discuss the implementation of the program in your schoolboard.

Student participation criteria
To be eligible for the HSSIDIP, students must meet each of the following requirements:
- Between 16 and 21 years old
- Eligible to work in Canada with a Social Insurance Number and personal bank account in their name
- Registered as a full-time student in a secondary accredited academic institution in Canada
- Has an Individual Education Plan (IEP) that indicates that:
- they have an intellectual disability or are on the autism spectrum disorder, and
- they are transitioning to the world of work
- Due to their disability, will not obtain a high school diploma allowing enrollment in a regular program in a post-secondary institution
- Has demonstrated the ability to integrate into the workplace with full autonomy
- Has strong executive functions such as behavioural stability, receptiveness to feedback, and persistence
- Has the support of their parents or guardians to participate in the HSSIDIP
- In addition, students must be accompanied at work by a school board educator (EA) during the first 6 weeks of the HSSIDIP placement.
