The evaluations planned for 2026–27 to 2030–31 cover all programs in the Department’s Program Inventory and 99% of departmental planned spending, based on 2026–27 amounts. The Plan includes all ongoing grants and contributions programs with five-year average annual expenditures of $5 million or greater. Coverage is provided through departmental evaluations and participation in horizontal evaluations led by other federal departments.
Two grants and contributions programs from the Legal Representation program area with five-year average annual expenditures below $5 million (and therefore exempt from mandatory five-year evaluation coverage), are not included in the evaluation schedule: 1) Integrated Market Enforcement Teams Reserve Fund; and 2) Legal Support to Address Sexual Harassment in the Workplace.
