Criminal Caseload January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2005

Figure 3 indicates criminal caseload for the Court for the period January 2002 to the end of 2005 (estimated from September to December 2005). The caseload in terms of the total number of charge appearances has increased substantially over that period by 81 percent, from 18,257 to 33,111.
