Description

The figure above is a broken-line graph showing the number of adults charged (actual and projected) in Prince Edward Island from 1977 to 2003. The X axis shows the year; the Y axis shows the number of adults charged, in increments of 50, from 0 to 300. Although the figure does not provide the exact figures, the trend for this period appears to remain between approximately 60 and 250 adults charged.

During the first year, the number remains fairly stable; it increases in 1979 but decreases until 1982, when it returns to the same number as in 1977. There follow several years of minor fluctuations, with a downward trend until 1991. The number of adults charged increases slowly until 1998, followed by a slight decrease in 1999. In future years the figure suggests a slight increase until 2003.
