The Y axis represents the rate per 1,000 in the population. It increases in increments of 50 from 0 to 350.
The X axis is divided into six sections. The X axis lists the following vulnerable groups from left to right: Aboriginal people, Youth, Persons with low income, Persons with disabilities, Women, and Visible minorities.
The approximate rate of violent victimization reported by the groups is as follows :
- Aboriginal people : 300 per 1,000
- Youth : 220 per 1,000
- Persons with low income : 190 per 1,000
- Persons with disabilities: 150 per 1,000
- Women : 110 per 1,000
- Visible minorities : 100 per 1,000
