Purpose:

The Recipient will organize and host a one-day training conference which will assist educators, justice officials, youth and participating community members to learn about alternative approaches when dealing with youth in the criminal justice system who are gang involved or at risk of gang involvement. The target group for this conference will be approximately 250 teachers and student teachers, youth, justice officials and community members. The conference will take place in Toronto, Ontario in March 2010.
